SYNOPSIS
Trapped within a county lines drug gang, a vulnerable teenager finds escape by practicing tap dance wherever he can. But when his dreams start to take over his gangland responsibilities he's faced with a terrible choice.
ABOUT
Selected as a winner of the CHALLENGE ALEXA scheme in 2020 the film was made in association with Directors UK and ARRI. Tap Boy was shot in March 2020 and stars Keenan Munn Francis, Susan Scott, Spike Leighton, James Thackeray and Edwin De La Renta. It completed post production in Jan 2021 and received numerous awards and selections during its festival run before being selected for the 'Directors Notes' slate.
